BIO:
Cliff was born and raised in Ballinger, Texas. He obtained his Bachelor of Arts degree in English and Government from Angelo State University. He went on to attend St. Mary’s University School of Law, where he earned his Doctor of Jurisprudence. While in law school, Cliff developed an interest in estate planning, where he saw an opportunity to help others protect their families and their legacies.

After law school, Cliff began working in the field of oil and gas law, focusing on title examination in multiple plays and states. This experience included various types of ownership examination throughout the entire life of an exploration and production project, from leasehold acquisition to drilling to pooling, including forced pooling in Oklahoma. Through this experience, Cliff saw the problems and issues families faced due to improper business and estate planning, which often left the wishes of people unfulfilled. Seeing these issues is what drove Cliff to follow his desire to focus on estate planning and business advising.

Cliff met his wife, Kara, while they were both serving as part of the student senate at Angelo State University. They were married in the Spring of 2006 and now have two daughters, Kalynn and Kelsey. Cliff and Kara moved to New Braunfels in 2007, and have called this wonderful town home since then. Cliff enjoys helping individuals and families create their estate plans and business ventures, sharing good conversation over cigars and bourbon with just about anyone, fly fishing, hunting and spending as much time as possible with Kara, Kalynn, and Kelsey.
